Ask yourself a few questions:

• Is an ecological study really useful if it hasn’t been properly scoped to fulfil all the requirements of relevant policies and legislation?

• Is it really sustainable if, by implementing energy-saving, you increase pollution or damage biodiversity? 

• Will your sustainable building or project really be so if you haven’t looked at ecology, energy, natural resources, and other environmental issues at the outset? 

• Is your company’s new environmental strategy really going to achieve benefits and stand up to public scrutiny if it only concentrates on a few issues?
